I loved both Poppy and Sam, in a way Sam reminds me of my partner, when we first met he came across all cold and serious until I saw the other side.

This is my favourite Sophie Kinsella book.Emilynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444796916325633179.post-24150798445501119032012-03-01T03:32:30.074+00:002012-03-01T03:32:30.074+00:00I was so excited to read this book, and while I di...I was so excited to read this book, and while I did love it, there were some aspects of the book which at times I found a little annoying. At first the footnotes really annoyed me, it kept disrupting the flow of reading, but I got used to them after awhile. It was funny, but it wasn't as funny as i thought it would be- the other thing was how much of a pushover Poppy is...at times it got a little frustrating about how easy people manipulated her. But overall, it is a great book and I would recommend this book to others.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444796916325633179.post-57152404519275498972012-02-18T23:36:16.531+00:002012-02-18T23:36:16.531+00:00I have to admit, as much as i love the shopaholic ...I have to admit, as much as i love the shopaholic series, I prefer Kinsella's standalone books . . . I dislike sequels and series and, like Jill Mansell said in the interview you did with her I just read, I like it to end at happy ever after. I only read the Becky Bloomwood books cos they are so much fun, but I resent it at the same time. Kinsella's newest book is on the way to me and I can't wait, especially after reading this review!xPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04425977546505490830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444796916325633179.post-2507733947283597052012-02-17T19:00:08.973+00:002012-02-17T19:00:08.973+00:00This arrived to my kindle yesterday... She has created...Sophie Kinsella has done it again. She has created a creative plot with lovable characters and dialogues that will have you laughing nonstop throughout the story! I adored the characters Sophie Kinsella created for us. Our main protagonist, Poppy is the best friend I always wished for. Her personality had me laughing, the situations she gets into got me embarrassed for her, and the ways she gets herself out of these situations had me yelling "GENIUS" and "If only i had the guts to do that!". Poppy reminded me so much of Emma from her novel "Can You Keep A Secret?" and these two protagonists are high on my "potential best friends" list!Espanahttp://safetyprecautionkids.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1444796916325633179.post-20257672851870807542012-02-16T17:54:43.901+00:002012-02-16T17:54:43.901+00:00I'm so excited to read this book I've foun...I'm so excited to read this book I've found that you can't really go wrong with a Kinsella!
